The 3rd OA Certification Course, which was organised by the ECU Arbiters’ Council from February 23rd to 26th, has been concluded.
21 participants attended the course and were informed about the FIDE/ECU Online Chess Regulations, Fair Play Regulations, handling Zoom calls and managing online chess platforms. As in the previous courses, Tomasz Delega, Chairman of the ECU Arbiters’ Council, was supervising and made the introductory speech, while the lecturers were the members of the Council Marco Biagioli, Jirina Prokopova and Tania Karali, accompanied by IA Alex Holowczak.
On the day of the exam, 2 more attendants joined, plus a few participants from the previous courses who wished to retake the exam. We are very proud to announce that 24 new Online Arbiters have been certified.
For the list of the lecturers, the ECU decided to involve ECU arbiters which gained their huge experience for online event working in 2020 for ECU or FIDE online events on the position of Chief Arbiter. They are autometically added on the list of ECU Online Arbiters.
